Blade Size Chart for All Rogue Models

Just in case you didn’t know, not all wiper blades are the same size. They come in various sizes.

It depends on the model year of your Nissan Rogue and the installation position.

Fortunately, this is not too complicated for the Nissan Rogue. The size of the wiper blades for your SUV is quite simple and easy to remember.

The newer Nissan Rogue, from 2014 to the present (2026), features wiper blade lengths of 26 inches on the driver’s side and 17 inches on the passenger’s side.

Older Rogue models, from 2007 to 2013, have a wiper blade size of 26 inches on the driver’s side and 14 inches on the passenger’s side.

As for the rear windshield wiper blade, the size is the same across all model years—12 inches.

With the table above, it will be easier to find the right wiper blade size for your Nissan Rogue.

Choosing the wrong size will have several consequences. If the wipers you buy are too big, they will touch each other when operating, which is not good.

Conversely, if they are too small, some spots will be missed.

Why Healthy Wiper Blades Matter

Just like the name itself, wiper blades are responsible for wiping away “dirt” on your car’s windshield. Rainwater, dust, debris, or other substances may obstruct your view while driving.

Well-maintained wiper blades can clean the windshield effectively and efficiently.

Effectively and efficiently? What does that mean?

Rubber wiper blades that have been used for a long time tend to become harder and stiffer, causing the wiper to not adhere properly to the windshield, thereby disrupting the cleaning process.

A good wiper blade can clean water in a single sweep. A worn-out wiper blade usually requires multiple sweeps, which is why the process becomes less efficient.

When it’s raining heavily, you also need to increase the wiper speed, which can be quite annoying, in my opinion.

Additionally, using worn-out wiper blades can cause scratches on the windshield. I’m sure you don’t want that to happen, right?

So, it’s best to ensure the wiper blades on your Nissan Rogue are in good condition before the rainy season arrives. Don’t end up struggling on the road because your windshield is blurry from water.

Top Signs You Need New Wiper Blades

Just like other car parts, wiper blades will wear out over time and with use, especially due to climate effects like excessive heat. When that happens, they’ll need to be replaced.

Usually, wiper blades last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. However, based on my experience living in the tropical climate of Southeast Asia, my car’s wiper blades can last more than a year.

Usually, in the second year, I replace them with new ones, especially when the rainy season starts. It can rain very heavily here.

The wiper blade will give you several signs when they’ve reached the end of their life. So, it’s a good idea to check and replace your wiper blades when you notice any of the following symptoms:

  • Streaking: The wiper leaves streaks or smears on the windshield when the rubber blade no longer makes even contact with the glass.
  • Skipping: When wipers are worn out, the rubber often becomes stiff. As a result, the blade may skip across the glass instead of gliding smoothly. This makes the cleaning process less effective.
  • Squeaking: besides skipping, stiff wiper will make a weird noise (squeak) when wiping the windshield. This is what bothers me the most—it feels like the glass might get scratched. I can’t focus on driving when this happens. That’s when I know it’s time to replace the wiper blades!
  • Splitting: Worn-out wipers do not wipe water off the windshield properly, usually leaving streaks as if the water has split, leaving behind a trail of water that has not been completely wiped away.
  • Ineffective cleaning: If you find that the wiper blades have to wipe multiple times just to remove a small amount of water from the windshield. This is a top sign that the wiper rubber is worn out and it’s time to get new ones with more effective cleaning.

Costs To Replace

The cost of replacing Nissan Rogue wiper blades varies, but averages around $108, depending on where you have the replacement service done. At least that’s what yourmechanic.com says.

Local garages may be more affordable than that. For example, according to their official website, Johns Auto Repair charges between $23 and $38 for wiper blade replacement. The service fee is around $8-$12, and parts range from $15 to $26, depending on the brand of wiper blade you choose.

But wait, I have a special way to save even more.

From personal experience, I often replace them myself. It’s simple—just buy the parts online and install them yourself at home.

You can find wiper blade parts at online stores. I usually choose well-known brands such as Bosch, Rain-X, or Trico. The price is a little higher, around $30 for a complete set (front and rear) and around $20 for the front windshield only.

If you don’t mind less well-known brands, the price can be even cheaper.

You might be a little worried about not being able to install them yourself, but I assure you it’s not as complicated as you think. It’s so easy—even my wife can do it. I’ll show you how in a moment.

No Tools, No Stress: Replace Your Wiper Blades Like a Pro

Removing and installing wiper blades is easy, but how easy is it?

In this section, I will show you how simple it is to replace the wiper blades on a Nissan Rogue.

Here are the easy step-by-step instructions for replacing the wiper blades.

  1. First, make sure you buy the right size wiper blade for your Nissan Rogue model.
  2. Remove the old wiper blade. It’s easy: lift the wiper arm, find the wiper blade lock on the wiper arm, which is usually a tab or cover lock, depending on the brand.
  3. Press the tab or open the lock, then gently pull downwards, and the wiper will come off.
  4. Install the new wiper blade by inserting the wiper arm into the mounting hole, then gently pull upward until you hear a click or until it locks into place. Done!

Make sure you don’t misplace the blades during installation. The driver’s side wiper blade is longer than the passenger side.

Ways to Make Your Wiper Blades Last Longer

Even though they are cheap and easy to replace, that doesn’t mean you can ignore your wiper blades. It’s a good idea to take care of them so they last longer.

Here are some simple tips you can follow to make your wiper blades last longer.

  • Keep them clean: Dust, oil from exhaust fumes, and other substances can have a negative impact on the rubber of your wiper blades. Wash your car often.
  • Keep them out of the sun: The sun’s heat will cause the rubber to become brittle quickly. Try to park in the shade during the day.
  • Don’t scrape ice: During winter, don’t scrape ice off the windshield. Use the defrost feature to melt the ice before turning on the wipers.

By following these simple steps, you’re not only caring for your wiper blades, but also helping maintain your car overal.

Stay Clear, Stay Safe

We agree that wiper blades play a big role when it rains.

That alone is reason enough to pay more attention to your wiper blades, clean them when they are dirty, replace them when they are worn out, and make sure to use the right size.

With the table I’ve provided above, you’ll easily determine the right size for your Nissan Rogue.

With well-maintained wiper blades, driving in the rain will be easier and still feel enjoyable.
